In my many attempts to sing into my mic, I realize I tend to get really nervous even when no one’s with me at home. In order to test and improve myself, I decided I would try to sing a song I thought I knew on a single take. No redoes. No splices. No more than one recording. No exceptions. Not even for duets/groups/harmony. Basically karaoke. I’ll admit I had a lot of fun despite the mistakes and me being a dork repeatedly throughout the song and I may do more in the future under the name One-Take Tuesdays.
But I digress, here’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart”
Side note: the 3rd track above is a send solely for reverb. There’s nothing else recorded on this track other than the one take of my voice.
Note to self: DO SOME VOCAL WARMUPS BEFORE YOU ACT LIKE A DORK IN FRONT OF A MIC.
I am so sick of people that insist on trying to incite an argument because I linked an article/video that may have some form of opinion. I share them because I think they have interesting and possibly meaningful points. I’m not particularly down for a passive-aggressive/unnecessarily-aggressive debate on the internet, jeez.
So I’m moving into a new apartment, and I was told that the room had been damaged, but nothing could have prepared me for the fact that someone had carved Li Shang’s head out of the bathroom door and written “We must defeat the Huns!” on it.
